HER GLANCE The final period has ended with the ring of the bell.I was scribbling the poem, but I had to leave that now and rush to the library room to exchange my novel that I was recently reading. That was the most heart-thawing novel I've ever read. I stepped out of the classroom. It was gloomy, the summer season, and the sky was roaring with thunderbolts. It was also an amusing moment because most of them were holding their umbrellas, but some were perplexed because they had no umbrella to protect themselves from the heavy rain. As I reached near the library gate, Madam Sangay, the library incharge, permitted me to get in. Many were there holding the books, pretending to be the readers at their respective seats, but I directly went to the novel section with deep eagerness and curiosity inside my heart. I saw one familiar face just flashed behind the rag. "Wow, who could be she?" I mumbled with a low voice. She was dressed well in blue and filled with overloaded charm. But she disappeared within a short time. It was just a second of her glance towards me, but it has brought light to my heart and a smile to my face. How precious a moment it was to be cherished forever. I felt lucky myself, and took a deep breath, despite my heart still longing to see her again, touch her, and have a moving conversation with her. After a few moments, I turned left. I saw someone struggling to find one suitable novel for her to read during leisure time. I just stepped forward with courage, and tried my best to help her. I took one from the rag to show her, but that didn't impress her at all. And I went closer, but this time in order to ask her about who could be the one I recently saw. I asked her, "Do you know the girl who was dressed in blue a moment ago?" She nodded, with the sign of yes. Thank God. I will inquire more about the girl I saw. I feel like that was sort of one direction love, where she never knew my feelings at all. Was that not silly? How beautiful things would turn out if she felt like I do. But the saddest part of life begins with the unknown source. I only got to see it when it was right in front of me.Nothing had ever come to pass like that before, but misfortune was just an unexpected thing that happened to hurt a person. Nevertheless, she knew her name. She said, "Pema Wangmo, friend of mine." Oh, that was a great relief to my heart and soul. I thought it was never too late. I still have time the next day. When I came out of the library room, it was already dusk, but no worries, I moved towards my home. Before I slept, it was her image in front of my eyes that really disturbed my sleep. It was such a sweet and joyous moment to spend a sleepless night dissolving and getting deep into her world. I was enjoying that fragrant moment of her sweet glance and dreaming about her. Love is what we make for each other, and imagination is what we create for it. The world of imagination leads me to a wonderful satisfaction. Oh, how sweet, how mesmerizing was that which captivated my inner core of heartfelt feelings. -Dil Kumar Saru
